Biography
Raphael Ayodele Omosola, MIDPM, MITSSP, MITPCS, MCPN, FNCS, is a distinguished IT Professional, Expert, Technocrat, and IT Leader with decades of experience in Nigeria's public and private ICT sectors.
He served as the Head of the IT Department at the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria (Federal Ministry of Health), Abuja, from which he retired. He is the Chairman and Managing Director of RAO Modern Systems Ltd and serves as an IT Consultant to various Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs). He is a registered professional IT practitioner with the Computer Professionals Registration Council of Nigeria (CPN).
Mr. Omosola served as a Member of the Governing (Board) Council of CPN for three consecutive terms from 2011 to 2017, and as a Member of the National Executive Council of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) for eight years from 2013 to 2020. He is a Chairman and Member of Appointment and Promotion Committees of various Federal MDAs, and a Member of the Accreditation Team (CPN/NBTE) to various Tertiary Institutions. He also serves as a part-time computer lecturer at various tertiary institutions in Nigeria.
As the Pioneer National President of NITPCS from 2014 to 2021, he was instrumental in founding and establishing the association, championing the professionalisation of IT practice within Nigeria's civil and public service. He now serves as Executive Secretary of NITPCS.
