Biography
Sheikh Tahir Rahama, FNCS, is a distinguished Lifetime Member and Fellow of the Nigeria Computer Society (NCS) (MRN 10261). He is the Immediate Past Chairman (IPC) of the NCS Kaduna State Chapter, having served as Chairman from 2021 to 2023 and continuing in leadership through 2023–2027.
With over 25 years of professional experience in Information Technology, Sheikh Rahama retired from the IT Department of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Kaduna Refining and Petrochemical Company (KRPC) Ltd in 2021. He is the Founder, President, and CEO of RahamaCorp Ventures Ltd, an NCS/CPN corporate member (NCS MRN 12540 / CPN 007435/2021).
Sheikh Rahama serves as the Northern Regional Coordinator of NITPCS and is a Member of the NITDA Kaduna State Technical Working Group. He chaired the NCS College of Fellows (CoF) 2025 Electoral Committee and served as LOC Chairman for the NCS–Kaduna 2024 AI & Robotics Summit.
An Elder Statesman and Community Leader, Sheikh Rahama serves as Chairman of the Chanchangi Layout Community and Mosque Committee, Kinkinau GRA, Kaduna. He is happily married and blessed with eleven children.
